Winry and her puppy

Wow, the art submit page looks different. I like it.

Forgive the grainy scan quality- we need a better scanner. If we ever do get a better one, I will have to re-upload these.

This is the first pencil-only drawing I've done in quite a while, and I'm very happy with the outcome. For one of my favorite anime girls, I drew my favorite picture of Winry and her sweet little puppy from the anime Full Metal Alchemist.
This piece took me a little while, but the main reason it has taken so long is that I'm learning more and more to take my time and be patient. It makes drawing a lot more enjoyable to space it out over when you're in the mood.
I used my favorite "STAEDTLER" 952 0.5 mechanical pencil with shade specification settings (that I just found out about.-not sure how it works, but it's really really neat.), a few Dixon Ticonderoga Black HB num. 2 pencils (best all around sketch pencils ever!), and a PAPERMATE 0.5 "CLEAR POINT mechanical pencil (for the darker lines) along with a size assortment of tortillions and blending stumps for shading.
I'm really taking all of the advice I can get from comments and other deviations, so any advice or constructive criticism is appreciated and graciously taken into account in future drawings. Thank you!
