Red Haired Shanks

Well, as promised, here's the finished Red Haired Shanks, the captain for the Red Haired pirates. (No, they all don't have red hair, just the captain)
Don't know how long it took, but I'm VERY happy with it!

Although I'm just now noticing that my scanner tends to put a light-blue bar right down the middle of the scan. That's kinda weird.

Anyway, I plan on doing one more Shanks for Galadwhathayin (or however you spell it!) before I start in on my first real drawing series. And for those of you who don't know, I changed it a bit.
It's gonna be of my 10 (reconsidered) favorite anime girls in order, just cause I've always wanted to do that! I sat down and carefully (re)considered my top ten from every anime I've ever seen, and I'm gonna wait to reveal who they are till I upload the picture. It's not something I feel anyone would really care about, it's just something for me!
I'm allowed to do that sometimes, right?

Anyway, I used the same materials as usual and I've stopped looking at the clock while drawing, so I can't tell you how long it took!
